Superflame Toggle – Spyro 2

This cheat is for Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage! only.

IMPORTANT: This cheat does NOT give Spyro the Superflame ability.

The code only toggles the permanent Superflame power-up ON or OFF.

You must have already completed the requirements to unlock the permanent Superflame — 10,000 gems and all 64 orbs.

Once the permanent Superflame has been unlocked, this cheat allows you to switch between normal fire breath and permanent Superflame.

Platform Cheat Code
PlayStation 4 Left, Right, Left, Right, R1, R1, R1, R1, Square
Xbox One Left, Right, Left, Right, RB, RB, RB, RB, X
Nintendo Switch     Left, Right, Left, Right, R, R, R, R, Y
PC / Steam A, D, A, D, E, E, E, E, Right Click

Important

This is not an All Abilities cheat and it does not unlock Superflame for a player who has not earned it.

It simply controls whether the already-unlocked permanent Superflame is active.

Squid Skateboard – Spyro 3

This cheat is exclusive to Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon.

It changes the skateboard into a squid.

Platform Cheat Code

Nintendo Switch     Up, Up, Left, Left, Right, Right, Down, Down, Y, Y, A
PC / Steam W, W, A, A, D, D, Right Click, Right Click, Left Click

The cheat should be entered when Spyro is not currently on a skateboard.

All Abilities

The original Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage! has an All Abilities code:

Circle, Circle, Circle, Circle, Square

This is the classic code from the original PlayStation version. It does not work normally in Spyro Reignited Trilogy because Circle is also used to leave the pause menu.

Why doesn’t the code work?

On PlayStation, Circle is also the button used to leave the pause menu.

Therefore, when the first Circle is pressed, Reignited exits the pause menu instead of accepting it as the first part of the cheat sequence.

The controls cannot be remapped to avoid this problem.

Original All Abilities Code

PlayStation: Circle, Circle, Circle, Circle, Square

Because of the pause-menu controls, this code cannot be entered normally on the PlayStation version of Reignited Trilogy.

The All Abilities code should therefore not be confused with the Spyro 2 Superflame Toggle above. The Superflame code does not unlock Superflame or any other abilities.

Do Cheats Disable Trophies or Achievements?

No. The cheats in Spyro Reignited Trilogy do not disable trophies or achievements.

You can therefore use the cheats for extra lives or visual effects without preventing yourself from earning trophies and achievements.

Turning Cheats Off

For cosmetic cheats that can be toggled, enter the same cheat code again to remove the effect.

The colour and appearance cheats can be used simply for fun and do not affect your ability to earn trophies or achievements.
