I’d forgotten why I had only played Tomb Raider Anniversary through once. It’s not just the headshots, I’m stuck in the training level, I DIED in the training level because of the backwards grapple wall jump. I’ve searched for hours, watched videos, read detailed instructions and I still can’t do it. The amount of people who have given up playing the game because of this move is ridiculous. It’s partly because it depends on the camera angle – back only means back if the camera is behind Lara, otherwise pushing the back button can move her all over the place 😡😫😢
However, I have just purchased a second-hand PS2 and the game came with it so I’ve decided to give it another go. If I can eventually complete the game I’ll fire it up on my PC and attempt a walkthrough guide for it.
It think the graphics and gameplay are excellent, and I did finally make it through once, but some of the moves and the camera angles are just, too challenging
My son, after many failed attempts, managed to do the jump in the training level, so I may have to call on him again a few times, but I still don’t think there was any need to make this game quite so challenging. It’s put so many people off, but I will give it another go after trying the headshots again!
Yeah, still can’t do it. After some of the reviews I’ve read I think I’ll give it a miss for now and concentrate on finishing my Tomb Raider 3 walkthrough. I don’t have oodles of time and have a lot of websites to maintain, so I’m working on it when I manage to get a few minutes. 🙂
