      There are several issues with XP and DOS games, such as TR1. There’s a few patches you can download, as well as a program called Glidos to improve the graphics.

      I’m still struggling with getting Tomb Raider to work with Glidos, but from the research I’ve done, it seems to be a problem with my graphics card. Maybe it’s time I upgraded! Glidos has some support forums in case you need any help:

        You can now download the older Tomb Raider games from Steam, GOG and Origin. These should work ‘out of the box’.
